historical overview, formation of galaxies, spiral galaxies, elliptical galaxies, dark matter, dark energy, expansion of the universe, introduction to cosmology

Methods:

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Assessment:

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Literature:

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
