Learning outcome: Overview over different aspects of emotion psychology and their relation to clincal psychology

Contents:

This lecture describes the role of emotions in everyday interactions and in psychotherapy. The lecture is based on a model of the elicitation, phenomenology, and function of emotions which integrates the very heterogenous conecepts and empirical results in contemporary emotion research. Specifically, the focus lies on the emotions "anger", "envy", and "guilt feelings".
