Understanding the basic principles behind action spectroscopy experiments. Fundamental understanding of electronic absorption processes in biochromophores, their importance for understanding biological processes and how they are studies using gas phase techniques.
The course is aimed at MSc And PhD students as well as third year BSc students who have already taken a basic course in quantum mechanics.
