The lecture gives an access in historical legal topics with connections to modern development. The lecture is not restricted to Roman Law and gives an overview to the law of ancient Greece and the law of the Old Orient in special topics.
The lecture covers the general topic in different parts; f. e.: - From the Egyptian Ma'at and Solons ,Eunomia' to modern rule of law; or: - From the emergence of the subject to modern legal person of law and the legal shelter from ancient days to modern societies; or: Democracy as cultural learning.
Lecture and discussion.
Oral exam.
