  • Deepening examination of specific aspects of Trans Studies

This course provides an insight into the activist research field Trans Studies, their origin and development until today. We discuss crucial research questions and look at the intersections with other research fields - established as well as activist ones. Together with the students specific topic areas of Trans Studies are chosen and in the second session critically examined. We focus on a critical and political form of research.

Close Reading; discussions; exercises in small groups as well as in the large group.

Attendance, Collaboration, Preparation to the learning sessions, Acquiring a research question independently and realize it in a small research project.
