By the end of this course, students will have designed their visually appealing and persuasive CV and created their strength profile . They will also know how to present themselves effectively in a job interview.

Students will prepare for the application process. During the course students will learn to assess and prsent their individual strengths and skills. They will create effective and alternative job application documents for future jobs to to apply at a university, at home or abroad and they will practice for a successful job interview. The course focus will be on each participant's authentic and effective self-presentation which can be practiced at the "Career and Competence" job fair at the Congress Innsbruck on Wednesday 25 April  2018 (http://www.c-und-c.at/). Attending the "Career and Competence" is highly recommended but not obligatory.

Small group activities, exercises with self- and third-party assessment, questionnaires and dialogues, interviewing and being interviewed. Willingness to work with new e-learning tools would be greatly appreciated.

No exam. Active participation in class. Several short written activities linked to how to write a CV, application documents and job interviews. Participation obligatory.
