Elobartion of today's flora and vegetation as a result of climatic change, as well as of human and livestock impact on the landscape since millennia.

Following an altitudinal transect between 900 and 2000 m a.s.l. selected plant species and their habitats are discussed in relation to their postglacial provenance, millennia-old past, anthropogenic usage, and future.

Field excursion in all weathers with discussion participation of the students.

One-page protocol on a selected, visited plant species or habitat.
