Students will acquire basic knowledge on structural and processual aspects of organizational design.
They will know the means by which organizations are designed, managed and controlled.
Structure: Organizational forms, hierarchies, superordination & subordination, accountability, interorganizational relationships
Structuring: Task analysis and job descriptions, competencies, delegation
Process: Power and control, politics, trust
Input by the lecturers, plenary and group discussions, group work, case studies
written exam (60 mins)
