Students gain the knowledge and skills to critically examine their own and other dissertations, to produce research results, evaluate and analyze new developments in the relevant literature and incorporate it in their own work in the context of a systematic understanding of the discipline.

In the seminar the state of research and theoretical and methodological issues of the dissertation project and partial results will be discussed.

In addition we will engage in a critical discussion on selected theoretical positions and current research findings and create smaller empirical studies.

Leading of a theoretical discussion and writing an independent analytical term paper a relevant topic

Will be communicated at the beginning of the semester.
