Students are able to describe fundamental topics, methods and applications of German linguistics.
We engage in selected questions, problems and methods of German linguistics, for example:
- What is language? What are the boundaries of the German language?
- What is the relationship between language and thinking, language and culture?
- How do children acquire language?
- How do linguists establish their questions and results?
