Learning Outcome:

Students are familiar with the theoretical assumptions of corpus linguistics and know corpus linguistic methods. The students are able to conduct queries in the national corpora of different Slavonic languages.

Contents:

This course gives a survey on the historical development of corpus linguistics, its theoretical assumptions and its aims. We will make ourselves acquainted with the national corpora of various Slavonic languages and train how to work with them.
