Insight into the diversity of topics of Translation Studies; assessment of adequacy of certain methods for concrete topics and/or tasks (primarily in the context of the students' own master's theses).

Discussion of topics and/or research projects in the context of current master's theses; elaboration of scientific objectives of the theses and discussion of possible methodological procedures.

Presentation of master's theses as work in progress and illustration of technical and methodological problems with the elaboration of theses required for a degree.

The grade is the result of an oral presentation, a written report (i.e. term paper) and active participation in class.

Will be agreed upon ad hoc in relation to the individual topics.

Electronic registration via the Online-VLV is compulsory for participation in the course.
