Practical experience with the main aspects of a bilingual terminology work in the form of the specification of a small termbase for an appropriate domain. Description and theoretical motivation of the decisions to be taken in this context.

After the introduction of the specifications, a restricted domain is chosen for which a small termbase is produced in team work.

The specification of the termbase is presented in weekly components. A group member of each group reports at the end of each class on the progress of the team work.

Presentation of each group on the team work regarding the creation of the database. Submission of the created database as well as of an accompanying text describing the problems encountered and the decisions taken in the light of theoretical foundations.

Will be discussed in the first class.
