winter semester 2018/2019 | Last update: 07.02.2019 | Place course on memo listIn this course, we will translate legal texts in a proper and linguistically adequate way into German.
You will acquire basic vocabulary and familiarize yourself with idiomatic phrases of both languages. You will also learn how to use tools such as dictionaries and alternative research options. We will primarily focus on translating texts that cover the entrepreneurial sector.
Assignments (research, terminology, translation), discussing translation assignments, eventually teamwork.
2 written tests.
Will be communicated in class.
In order to attend this course, students need to have passed the 2nd diploma examination (“2. Diplomprüfung” in French - German - French) or have completed the bachelor’s degree in translation studies. Attendance in the first class is a prerequisite.
