Students will acquire basic skills in consecutive interpreting into French.

Students will learn to interpret speeches, interviews and discussions (all presented in individual sections) correctly. The interpreted parts have to be adequate for the situation and correct with regard to language and content.

Different sources are used (live, recordings). Students have to recite from memory or with the aid of notes. If necessary, the notes will be discussed and ways of improving the note-taking will be suggested.

Continuous assessment, therefore regular participation will be required
