Graduates of this seminar learn the theory and practice of the most important Chemistry Classroom Demonstrations and experiments, generally designed for pupils, potentially adaptable to any age group for the secondary level of the two competence modules 5 and 6 (partial, according to the NOST curriculum). They know the possibility of a didactic reduction for the NMS area or AHS Unterstufe. They are also aware of the essential safety aspects and the co-ordination of the collection of educational aids.

The focus of this PR is limited in theory and practice to the following subjects:

Competence Module 5 (according to the NOST curriculum)

·         Structure-property concept

·         Substance and energy

·         fossil raw materials as energy carriers

Part 1 Competence Module 6 (according to the NOST curriculum)

·         concept of equilibrium

·         Donator-acceptor concept (protolysis equilibrium)

Experimenting in Chemistry Olympiad

·         Titration

·         Spot analysis
