Analysis of written and material sources; Sharpening the source-critical competencies; Critical evaluation of specific research literature.
The seminar will focus on the dynamic and multifaceted world of Roman provinces. On the base of the ancient sources (in translation) as well as current research literature, we are dealing with different aspects of Roman history.
