Fundamental knowledge in the area of drug analysis with a focus on extraction, isolation and analysis of phyto compounds.

Introduction to drug analysis. Extraction methods for phyto compounds (microwave extraction, PLE, SFE, etc.) and purification (SPE, LLE, etc.); separation of compounds with focus on hyphenation with MS. Selected applications from drug analysis.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
