Students

  • have in-depth knowledge from the mechatronic system design to the computer-assisted production of mechanical or mechatronic system components;
  • are able to quantitatively describe and analyse simple thermodynamic processes and processes;
  • have basic knowledge in describing and analysing the dynamics of single rigid bodies as well as simple flexible bodies. They have knowledge of the structure and behaviour of multibody systems.

Introduction to thermodynamics; definition of the basic terms (system, state and process variables), conservation principles (mass, impulse, energy), 1 st and 2 nd law of thermodynamics and their application; ideal gases and real materials and mixtures; fundamentals of thermal transfer.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
