Enhancing knowledge of fundamental aspects regarding the interplay of Insolvency and Labour Law.

Following a comprehensive overview of the foundations of Insolvency Law, the labour-related aspects of the Austrian Insolvency Act shall be discussed in detail. Specific attention shall be paid to insolvency remuneration, insolvency law issues regarding company transfer as well as the specific role of the insolvency administrator. Finally, the lecture is rounded off by the analysis of illustrative calculation examples regarding employee claims.

Lecture and active participation of students. 

Written examination at the end of the semester.
