Basic knowledge of ethics as a philosophical discipline, acquaintance with philosophical reasoningwritten and oral forms.

Introduction into key terminology; history of ethics; systematic outline of ethical theories in the realm of normative ethics, applied ethics (e.g. legal ethics, animal ethics, medical ethics, technology ethics) as well as metaethics (e.g. foundations of morality, cognitivism vs. noncognitivism, relativism).
