The public interest in dialects can be observed elsewhere: be it the existence of dialect collections set up by amateurs, the presence of dialect issues in the (local) media or repeated predications such as „dialect is identity, homeland, language of nearness etc.“

In occasion of the 350th anniversary of the University of Innsbruck we will seize on this interest by designing quiz-posters concerning dialect words collected by the Tyrolean Dialect Archive. In doing so we will also gain insight into the work of this archive.
