Skills for critical examination and presentation of essential methods and strategies in Media Studies applied to a concrete example

Twenty years ago, the journalist Gabriel Grüner working for the German magazine “stern” was killed at the Kosovo together with a photographer and a translator. His case has already taken over by literature as well. Regarding this example, the course will discuss the relation between war, journalism and literature. It includes a workshop devoted to the 20th anniversary of the death of Gabriel Grüner, and to which members of the course are invited to participate.
