Introduction to the fundamentals of practical work in and for print or online media; key aspects: media-specific text production, text and image design, research and editorial work.

How does the emergence of media change society? How does sociocultural change influence media? Is it possible to speak of a revolution of media or media of revolution? Following these leading questions the course outlines and analyzes the interrelation of media and sociocultural change on the basis of selected media-historical focal points.
