Knowledge of the history of Spanish literature and culture from the Middle Ages to the present times; knowledge of important authors, works, genres and developments in Spanish literary and cultural history; knowledge of extracts of canonical literary works.

The lecture gives an overview over the history of Spanish literature and culture from the Middle Ages to the present times. It will present important epochs, developments and tendencies as well as paradigmatic authors and works. The panoramic view will be complemented by the exemplary analysis of extracts of key works of Spanish literature and culture.
