Acquisition of competences and a critical attitude in dealing with historical sources on the history of space exploration as well as the ability to present the newly-acquired knowledge in oral and/or written form; acquisition of the competent use of relevant scholarly methods.

Reading and analysis of historical sources; identification of the scholarly formulation of questions, historical representation and narratives; reading and evaluation of historiographical texts and analysis of their qualification as historical sources.

Reading, paper, discussion; teacher's lecture.

Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, regular and active participation in discussions, short written work.

A selected reading-list will be provided at the start of the course.

Before attending this course,  we recommend the lecture VO3 basic knowledge from the respective core subject.
