acquisition of basic knowledge on high-temperature-high-pressure experimental techniques

technical principles of the most common high-P-high-T experimental devices (piston zylinder, multianvil press, externally heated pressure vessels, diamond-anvil cells); carrying out of projects that involve manufacturing of starting materials, high-P-high-T synthesis and characterization of run products using various microanalytical methods (e.g. electron microprobe, Raman spectroscopy, single crystal structure analysis)

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
