Students acquire advanced knowledge on applications of inorganic hybrid materials and coordination compounds in current research fields of material science. Students are familiarised with the methods of structure determination by means of metal/heteronuclear NMR-spectroscopy.

Basic relationship between nuclear spin, magnetic dipole moment, Larmor frequency and Zeeman energy; estimating the signal intensity; referencing the spectra; effect of J-coupling

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
