800672 PR Exercises to Practical Astronomy
summer semester 2019 | Last update: 02.07.2019 | Place course on memo listThe students should learn the interdisciplinary character of astronomy and the importance astronomy had during human history (e.g. astronomical navigation, calendar-making). Students should work by themselves with astronomical devices and they should get familiar with the starry night.
During the evening and in the night students perform measurements with different telescopes by themselves and gain first experience with astro-photography.
Introductory speech to communicate basic knowledge. During the rest of the time the students work with the telescpes. Also "homeworks" will be given.
Rating of participation during the lecture and also rating how the "homeworks" were done.
Number of participants: max. 12 students!
Ranking of Registration: Students will be ranked according to semesters, higher ranked semesters are preferred.
