They can resort to an advanced basic knowledge in the area of technical engineering, material sciences and power electronics and can develop innovative solution and application approaches for technical problems in relevant industrial areas, assess their suitability for application and eventually constructively imply the measures.
Methods and tools for structured manufacturing and designing; inventive problem solving and methodical innovating: problem analysis, problem description, problem-solving methods, structure analysis and synthesis, functional analysis; simultaneous engineeering; failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA); TRIZ; SWOT evaluation analysis; morphological analyis; stress-strength theory; experimental methods; trial and testing in the development process.
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
