This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of academic research. After having completed this course, students know the theory and methods of legal dogmatic, know how to conduct academic research, how to use library databases and how to evaluate the reliability, credibility and relevance of material selected; how to apply appropriate academic referencing conventions in order to avoid plagiarism. Students will become independent and confident about presenting information in written form.
The course covers numerous aspects, from using the university libraries and library databases to writing the bibliography for a research paper.
Interactive presentation, group work, discussions.
Presentation, regular attendance and active participation.
Will be announced at the first session/ will be made available on OLAT.
Registration until 28th September 2018.

- Diploma Programme Business Law according to the curriculum 2003 (C 115)
- Master's Programme Business Law according to the curriculum 2016 (120 ECTS-Credits, 4 semesters)
- Bachelor's Programme Business Law according to the curriculum 2015 (180 ECTS-Credits, 6 semesters)
- Diploma Programme Law according to the Curriculum 2001
