Students are able to illustrate individual sections of the Austrian political system. They acquire in-depth knowledge in these sections and are able to individually work in other sections
In the seminar we will discuss concrete examples of remembrance and their relevance for Austria’s politics. We will present various rituals of remembrance (e.g. days of remembrance, monuments and memorials, war [and peace] memorials). Part of the Seminar is a one-day excursion to Mauthausen (or Hartheim).
