Knowledge of diverse theories of culture in the social sciences and understanding of the meaning and relevance of the concept of culture for sociology and social research
The lecture will offer an overview of the diversity of the concepts of culture, that are central to the social sciences, and the consequences of related theoretical choices for understanding the social.
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
