611302 VU Morphology, Syntax, Text Linguistics - Spanish (with Reading List)
winter semester 2019/2020 | Last update: 28.04.2020 | Place course on memo listConsolidation of linguistic skills in American and European Spanish syntax, morfology and textlinguistics with special focus on discourse analysis.
Theoretical and practical approaches on morphological, syntactic and text-linguistic level; main focus is on the different syntactic patterns in Spanish varieties round Spain and the Americas.
Didactic conversations, theoretical knowledge applied to examples, exercises as well as to fundamental problems according to the SMALL READING LIST; portfolio with examples and explanatory models for syntax and text linguistics
Regular participation and preparation before and after the units, poster presentation and Paper (10-15 pages). A written exam at the end of the semester with questions according to the SMALL READING LIST.
Bibliography and course documents are being given to the students during the term (OLAT, copies)
Grammatical Analysis Spanish (VU 3 hours)
Introduction to Spanish Linguistics (VU 2 hours)
course starts with the beginning of the semester; equivalent of synchrone linguistics (Lehramt); your registration will be confirmed in the first lesson
