Text analysis in order to find the main traits of a literary genre in 19th-century literature.

Contents:

The literary genre of autofiction. Main characteristics.

Autobiography, autobiographical novel, autofiction.

Analysis of the autobiographical works of Ugo Foscolo, Giacomo Leopardi, Giulio Cesare Abba, Silvio Pellico, Giuseppe Mazzini, Giovanni Verga, Gabriele D'Annunzio.
