Insight into the effects of the political change of 1898 on exemplary areas of art and science. Insight in theoretical and methodical approaches of different disciplines and in cultures of interdisciplinary research.
The interdisciplinary lecture takes the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall as an opportunity to discuss the effects of this historical break in the arts and sciences. Intellectuals and scholars of contemporary history, literary studies, art history, curators, publishers and former members of the opposition will speak about the turn in their professional fields since 1989.
