winter semester 2019/2020 | Last update: 11.05.2019 | Place course on memo listConsolidated knowledge of the theory of history didactics (historical and political competences, basic concepts, didactic principles); identification of the didactic potential of video games, comics and playmobil figures for the history lesson, which are, besides their entertainment value, an important communications medium; developing the ability to put the theoretical and methodical knowledge into practice; students can develop an annual plan and to plan teaching units and profiles.
Consolidation of the theory of the history didactics; mini projects with the topic „cultural history products as a methodological approach in the history lesson” should be scheduled in the annual plan in consideration of the new curricula of 2016 for the secondary school I; development of teaching units for selected topics where video games, comics or playmobil figures with historic-political content are central; special emphasis is put on the deconstruction of the different cultural history products, which considers besides the detailed analysis also the historical context.
Lecture, reading, presentation and discussion of specialised literature, presentation of teaching units by the students, reflection.
Classes with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, regular and active participation in discussions, oral presentation and handout, didactic seminar paper (min. 10 pages).
