Alternating dealing with topics in the fields of political ethics, peace ethics, economical ethics and Social Anthropology:
In the course of Muslim History, a small circle around the prophet Muhammad in Mecca turned into a large religious community claiming to form its own society and nation, Umma.
With the development of this community, the views of its members, especially the scholars among them, developed into different context-multifaceted societal questions.
In our Lectures we will discuss various stages of the history of Muslim society from the beginning to the late Middle Ages.
