Students learn how to analyse, interprete and contextualise sources and representations of Ancient History.

As an introduction to working with ancient sources written records concerning Semiramis are argued. Critical assessment of sources, analysis of different written records as well as search for reoccurring patterns and themes are going to be part of the course.

Combination of Lecture, advanced practice, joint reading, analysis, discussion, group work.

Participation and short essay.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
