Inorganic Chemistry

The students acquire the basic knowledge in chemistry and gain an insight into the relevance of chemical reactions in daily life.

 

Organic Chemistry

The students acquire the knowledge of basic concepts of organic chemistry. 

Inorganic Chemistry

Fundamentals, structure of material, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, properties of gases, liquids and solids, solutions, chemical equilibrium, acids and bases, entropy and free enthalpy, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry

 

Organic Chemistry

Basic concepts of Organic chemistry: Historic aspects; Special position of carbon;  Constitution; Separation, purification and characterization of organic compounds;  Isomerism; Nomenclature; Single bond; Hydrogenbonding

In general

Lecture (computer-assisted visual presentation). The particular files (script and accompanying documents, etc.) are available via OLAT.

 

 

Written exam implying the whole subject matter

For General chemistry, Inorganic chemistry and Organic Chemistry the comprehensive knowledge of the basic facts necessary for further studies are supplied in the lecture itself.
