- Understanding of concepts of politicial education from a critical prospective.
Ever since neoliberal political agenda became dominant in the public discourse, the term "Ideology" and "Ideology critique" should be rewarded highly in the political practice as well as in the scientific community. But although numbers of publication increased within the last years, it receives very little attention so far. This courses therefore focusses on the term. It will highlight historical and contemporary concepts, following the understandings of Marx/Engels, the Frankfurt School and french structuralism; as well as it points out the significance for political practice and political education. Thereby, it will center its function in the analysis of discourses in social media and in the analysis of images.
