Students possess advanced knowledge of electrical measurement and sensors, their qualities, functions and relationships. They are suitably qualified for the competent application of these disciplines to solve practical problems in mechatronics.

Fundamentals-including main terms and definitions, methods of estimating accuracy and uncertainty, and standards of electrical quantities-and the classical methods of measurement, data acquisition, signal conditioning, and signal processing for both analog and digital signals, computer measuring systems, sensors and transducers (light, motion, temperature, magnetic fields, gravity, vibration, pressure, electrical fields, sound, and other physical aspects of the external environment), lab exercises

Following the lecture, where the theoretical foundations are developed, will be held four practical exercises in the measury technology lab.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
