Students

• are able to apply the acquired knowledge and their acquired competences in biomedical engineering to correctly solving practical problems in the field;
• are familiar with the necessary theoretical foundations, methods and theories and know their possible applications and limitations;
• are able to adequately document and discuss acquired results and solutions.

Requirements for medical therapy equipment, specific problem areas, biomaterials and biocompatibility, artificial organs and organ trans- plantation, cardiac pacemakers, respiratory and anaesthetics, dialysis and artificial kidney, minimally invasive surgery, lasers in medicine;

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
