summer semester 2020 | Last update: 22.01.2020 | Place course on memo listThe course aims to teach students the ability to independently analyze legal problems in an academic manner and to present the results of such analysis. The course covers legal problems that have emerged in case law and legal literature or that stem from recent legislative reforms, including aspects of comparative law. It should raise the students' awareness of pervasive problems in the field of (international and comparative) civil procedural law. Students should also learn to analyze academically a topic suggested by the coordinator or freely chosen. The seminar provides a possibility for presenting current research results. The course may be attended by PhD students.
Selected topics of international or comparative Civil Procedural Law.
Oral presentation of the student’s own research results (15-20 min) followed by a group discussion.
The evaluation of this seminar is based on the student’s presentation as well as on active participation in class
Depending on the chosen/suggested topic.
Language of instruction: German; Registration via LFU:online.
The course is scheduled for 20 to 23 May 2020 and will be held in Switzerland (Chalet les Capucines, CH-1865 Les Diablerets).
