The course imparts an in-depth introduction to the field of Competition Law and deals with its main principals as well as its specialties, such as economic perspective approach and market definitions.

The course deals with the principals of Austrian and European Competition Law (ban on cartels and abusive practices, merger control) including its rules of procedure.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
