Upon the positive completion of the course students are able to:

• apply the contents of the lecture „Labour law“ to a specific case,
• draft a legal document (under qualified supervision),
• prepare and deliver an oral pleading,
• replicate the remarks of the opposing party.

The Moot Court Competition in Labour Law aims to deepen and improve the knowledge of Labour Law as well as to provide a first insight into the legal profession.

• Advanced lectures on Labour Law,
• Briefing on the proceedings in labour matters,
• Rhetoric seminar,
• Participation in the final court hearing.

The winning team will also participate in the finals held in Vienna.

• Drafting of the legal documents,
• Preparation of the oral pleadings

Examination on Labour and Social Law

It is encouraged that applicants also possess basic knowledge in Civil Procedure Law

Enrolement to this course is restricted to those students who have been selected to participate in the Moot Court. To apply for the Moot court please send an email (verena.vinzenz@uibk.ac.at) including the following documents:

• a short motivational statement,
• personal data sheet (including name, contact information and evidence of the positive completion of all relevant examinations).
