Graduates have an orientation knowledge in profession-relevant theory and model-formation with regards to media and communication as well as the organization and management of knowledge.

Discussion of basic media theories and communication models, taking account of local and global (partial) public spheres and the relevance of theory construction and model design to educational practice. Along with the basic theories of the academic study of media, more recent theories and those currently being discussed will play a major part in discussing the treatment of transformations of media culture in educational contexts. 

Lecture, group work on- and offline, inverted classroom, discussion, formation of theses

Production of a video tutorial on a subject of the course (by the 22 June)

For preparation (german): Elisabeth Kampmann et al. (2017): Teaching media. Chapter 6 and 9. (online access by way of ulb)
