This module aims at expanding the study programme and at acquiring additional qualifications in the field of interdisciplinary media and communication research.

The focus of  this seminar encompasses media analysis and media design at the interface of Media / Journalism and Politics in cooperation with the radio "Freirad". 

Hereby, the transfer of political contents (political communication) and the possibilities of participation in the decision-making process plays a crucial role.

Therefore, the seminar comprises also visits at places of decision-making on the local (city council) and the regional parliament ). The analysis of the public opinion on the European level will play a role as well (multilevel-analysis).

Workshop-Character in the area of media analyis and media design:
- research
-  text analysis
- conducting of interviews and editing
- selection of music
- technical editing and coordination in the team
- arrangement of the 1-2 hours lasting life emitted radio show.

- online assignments (text, moderation and radio contribution)
- time management
- team work

Will be introduced in the first lesson and via Moodle.
