Knowledge about the role of language in political contexts as well as language policy and language politics.

Ability to critically handle and reflect different research methods.

Ability to analyse language use in political contexts and language policy on the basis of research work.

Ability to write a paper.

Especially adult learners feel that the acquisition of morphosyntactic skills is central to language acquisition. Using data from (adult) learners we will analyse specific problems with German as a second language, we will have a look at the progression and the role of oral and written contexts.
