Children and youth literature are still influenced by the age of enlightenment and romanticism. Pioneering books as Kinder- und Hausmärchen of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm face almost forgotten writers such as Johann Michael Denis. The philanthropism of the romanticism, driving force as it concerns children and youth literature, contradicts an antiphilanthropism in the Austrian Monarchie. Traces pop up until today, that can be shown on texts. Used text typs are fairytales, stories, novels, plays, songs, poems,a.s.o.
